WhatsApp Broadcast
A WhatsApp broadcast list on the phone app caps out, sends to whoever happens to have your number saved, and tells you nothing about who read it. Copy-pasting to a few hundred people is not a plan.
Send to your whole contact book or a tagged group
Pick everyone, or a segment you have tagged. The audience is counted before you send, so you know what you are committing to.
Personalised per recipient
Each message resolves the template variables for that contact — their name, not a shared placeholder.
Delivery, read and failure per person
Every recipient carries its own status, so you can see who received it, who read it, and who failed and why.
Resume a part-finished send
A send runs from the browser tab you started it in, so closing that tab stops it — you are asked to confirm before leaving while one is running. If it does stop part-way, the people not yet reached stay pending and "send to the rest" picks up where it stopped rather than messaging anyone twice.
Told before you pay to message a number that has never worked
Every WhatsApp template message is charged whether or not it arrives, and a number that failed once tends to keep failing. Before a send goes out you are told how many people in that audience have never received any of your broadcasts, so you can tag and exclude them instead of paying for them again. It reports the count and changes nothing on its own — who receives a campaign stays your decision.
Recorded in each customer's chat
A campaign send appears in that contact's conversation thread, so an agent opening the chat can see what was already sent to them.
One message per person
If the same number appears on more than one contact record, they are messaged once, not once per row.
Pick an approved template from your synced Meta catalogue.
Choose the audience — everyone, or a tag.
Map the template variables; names fill in from each contact.
Review the recipient count, then send.
Watch delivery and read counts land per recipient as Meta reports them.
Worth knowing before you sign up
As many contacts as your plan holds — 5,000 on Starter, 25,000 on Growth, unlimited on the top plan. The separate constraint is Meta's daily unique-recipient limit, which depends on your WhatsApp account tier and quality rating rather than on PingPlug.
Meta scores each number on a quality rating driven by blocks and reports. PingPlug checks that rating hourly and warns you when it drops from green — the point at which changing what you send still helps. Sending relevant messages to people who opted in is what keeps it green.
Yes, per recipient — sent, delivered, read, replied or failed, with the failure reason where Meta gives one.
Recipients already sent to are marked; those not yet attempted stay pending. "Send to the rest" continues from there, so nobody is messaged twice.
