Comment to DM
A post does well, forty people comment "price?", and you reply to six of them before running out of evening. The other thirty-four wanted to buy something and heard nothing.
A DM sent automatically
When someone comments, they get a direct message — the thing you would have sent manually if there had been time.
Keyword rules
Fire only on comments containing the words you choose, so "price" gets the price and "beautiful" does not get a sales pitch.
One post or all of them
Point a rule at a specific post — useful for a launch — or let it cover everything on the Page.
Optional public reply
Reply in the thread as well as by DM, so other readers can see the question was answered.
Rules you can switch off
Each rule toggles on and off without deleting it, which matters when a campaign ends.
It ignores itself
Comments from your own Page are skipped. Without that, an auto-reply is itself a comment event that matches the rule that produced it.
Connect the Facebook Page, and the Instagram account linked to it.
Create a rule: which platform, which post if any, which keywords.
Write the direct message, and a public reply if you want one.
Turn it on. Commenters get the DM, and the conversation continues in your inbox.
Worth knowing before you sign up
It uses Meta’s official messaging APIs and stays within the window Meta allows for replying to a commenter. The thing that gets accounts restricted is messaging people who did not ask — a keyword rule that answers a direct question is the opposite of that.
Yes. A rule can name a single post, which is the usual way to run it for a launch without touching everything else on the Page.
With keywords set, the rule ignores them. Without keywords, it fires on every comment — which is occasionally what you want and usually not.
Yes. The DM starts a conversation in the shared inbox like any other, and the commenter becomes a contact.
