Integration
Yes — when someone submits a Facebook or Instagram lead ad form, Meta notifies PingPlug and the submission becomes a contact straight away. No CSV download, no waiting until somebody remembers to check Ads Manager.
How it connects
Meta sends a leadgen webhook event to PingPlug when a form is submitted. PingPlug fetches the submitted fields from the Graph API using your Page’s access token and creates the contact.
Contacts created on submission
The lead exists in your CRM in the time it takes Meta to send the webhook, not the next working day.
Ready to be worked immediately
The contact can be tagged, assigned, enrolled in a sequence or messaged — while the ad is still fresh in their memory.
Matched against existing contacts
A lead whose number you already hold is matched to that record rather than becoming a duplicate.
What this is not
Build the lead ad and its form in Meta’s tools as usual.
Connect the Page in PingPlug and grant the lead access permission.
Submissions arrive as contacts from that point on.
As fast as Meta sends the webhook, which is normally within seconds. The practical difference is that you can follow up the same hour rather than the next morning.
Not automatically — only submissions made after you connect are captured, and there is no backfill of past leads. You can still bring them in yourself: export the old leads from Meta and load them through the contact importer, which reads CSV, .xlsx and .xls.
Yes. An automation can tag the new contact and enrol them, so the first message goes out without anyone touching it.
